ABOUT THE ROLE

Being a school driver you must be able to provide safety and timely transportation of the children to and from school. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carefully providing picking and drop to students from their residence to school and back to it, using designated routes and hours.
- Make sure to inspect the vehicle before and after the trip to ensure safety of the children as well as of the vehicle. The bus must be perfect working condition.
- Traffic regulations must be followed along with safety standards and the standards set by the company.
- Apart from the perfect condition of the mechanical part, it’s required to maintain the interior and exterior of the bus clean and orderly. It must be comfortable for students.
- Effective and polite communication with students, parents, and school personnel.
- Following and controlling the safety of the students on transit and encouraging correct conduct within the bus.
- Proper way of reacting to any road emergencies.
- Notifying the concerned authorities about maintenance or mechanical problems.
- Participating in training and meetings in the company to keep in touch with safety procedures.
- Being professional should be the top priority, along with being reliable, responsible and must be possessive regarding security concern of the passengers.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Driving License: A valid UAE driving license with 3,5 and 6 category.
- Language Skills: Strong with communication skills and can speak following language.
- English, Hindi and/or Nepalese.
- No serious driving offences.
- Prior experience working as a school bus driver or at some other transportation position would be very beneficial.
- Good interpersonal relationships and being able to handle young passengers.
- Awareness of the UAE road safety and traffic laws.
- Skill to remain composed and act accordingly when faced with a crisis.
- In good physical condition in order to inspect and help students to enter or get out of the bus.
