Job Description

The successful candidate get the important teaching and coordination role in the Primary School IT and computing Department of ICS. You will meet young, talented, and bright students for whom you will be a mentor.

Key Responsibilities

Following are the key responsibilities that you will be required to fulfil.

  • Deliver interesting IT and computing courses according to the international curriculum.
  • Help young students to be critical, problem solving, and digitally creative.
  • Make sure that the IT curriculum in the primary levels are aligned.
  • Encourage and help other teachers to integrate and use technology in their subjects and teachings.
  • Add your part and contribute to the school’s ongoing innovation and digital plan.
  • Make yourself available in different staff meetings, development of professional levels, workshops and other community events.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, good command in English (native or close to native).
  • Professional teaching certification or qualification (QTS or equal)
  • Experience of at least 2 years
  • Must have majority of IT, computing or digital specialization skills are highly preferred
  • Must have EU passport, or legally authorized to work in Italy. Can be Italian citizen, residence permit holder, or the holder of Italian work visa.
