- Assist in the calculation, analysis & consumption of measurements obtained during surveys
- Conduct field surveys and operate instruments & computer equipment to measure distance, angles, and contours
- Supervise & coordinate field survey activities
- Record all measurements & information obtained during the survey
- Determine precise locations using electronic distance-measuring equipment
- Good communication skills
- Effective interpersonal & time management skills
- Prepare the preparations and compilation of all data & documents
- Advise & provide consultations on matters related to legal surveys
- Survey & layout subdivisions for rural & urban development
- Develop plans, methods & procedures for conducting legal surveys
- Use of MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, GPS, GIS & Computerized land information system, etc
- Specialty to take topographic, land, hydrographic, mining, severances, condominiums surveys, etc
- Manage & display data using geographic information systems & computer-aided design and drafting
- Participate in field surveys & operate instruments & devices used in the field
- Keep records, and other survey information in systematic order
