Requirements:
The following are the requirements to apply for a Gas fitter position within Canada;
Qualifications: Must have a Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience:3 years to less than 5 years
Languages: English
Duties:

- Responsible to install and maintain services of gas heating units and their parts
- Also, test and replace defective equipment/ components
- Working in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
- Excellent communication & time management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills are required
- Advise client regarding standards and safety features of gas fitting equipment
- Ability to maintain gas units and related systems
- Possessing level 2/ B Gas fitter certificates
- Valid driving license with driving expertise
- Moreover, service gas appliances and related equipment
- Adjust the control mechanism and check pipes to diagnose any issue
- Test and check pipe connections for gas leaks using gas-detecting devices
- Use of safety equipment and steel-toed safety boots while performing duties
- Focus on client needs and perform accurate work accordingly
